1. Purpose
Drive. is built to enable private, secure storage. This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") outlines the rules for using the Service. Our goal is to keep Drive. safe, secure, and welcoming for everyone. By using Drive., you agree to follow these rules.
2. Prohibited Content
You may not use Drive. to share, distribute, or store content that:
- Depicts or promotes child sexual abuse material (CSAM) — we report all detected CSAM to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC)
- Promotes terrorism, violent extremism, or organized crime
- Harasses, bullies, threatens, or intimidates individuals or groups
- Incites violence against any person or group based on protected characteristics
- Contains hate speech — attacks or demeans groups based on race, ethnicity, religion, disability, gender, sexual orientation, or national origin
- Depicts or promotes non-consensual intimate imagery (revenge porn)
- Promotes self-harm, suicide, or eating disorders
- Contains malware, viruses, ransomware, or other malicious code
- Infringes on the intellectual property rights of others
3. Prohibited Activities
You may not use Drive. to:
- Engage in phishing, scamming, fraud, or deceptive practices
- Operate automated accounts or bots (non-human accounts)
- Attempt to break, bypass, or compromise Drive.'s encryption or security
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or tamper with the app or API
- Mass collect user data, scrape profiles, or harvest contacts
- Spam users with unsolicited file shares or commercial content
- Create multiple accounts to evade a suspension or ban
- Sell, rent, or transfer your account to another person
- Use the Service for any illegal activity under applicable law
4. Reporting Violations
If you encounter content or behavior that violates this policy, please report it:

Reports are reviewed within 24 hours. You can report anonymously — your identity will not be shared with the reported user.
5. Enforcement
When we detect or receive a report of a violation, we may take the following actions:
- Warning: For minor or first-time violations
- Content removal: Remove specific offending content
- Feature restriction: Temporarily limit certain account capabilities
- Temporary suspension: Short-term account suspension (1-30 days)
- Permanent ban: For severe or repeated violations, including CSAM, terrorism, and threats of violence
Enforcement decisions are made by our Trust & Safety team. You may appeal by emailing appeals@drivedot.cloud.
6. Law Enforcement Cooperation
Drive. is designed with privacy-protective architecture. We do not have access to file content, and we cannot provide it to law enforcement. We may disclose limited metadata (account creation date, sign-in IPs, etc.) when required by valid legal process.
We will notify you before disclosing your information to law enforcement unless prohibited by law.
7. Consequences of Violation
Violation of this policy may result in:
- Immediate termination of your account without refund
- Reporting to relevant authorities (e.g., NCMEC for CSAM, law enforcement for credible threats)
- Legal action by affected parties or by Drive.
