1. What Are Cookies
Cookies are small text files stored on your device by your web browser. They are widely used to make websites work efficiently and provide information to site owners. This Cookie Policy explains how Drive. uses cookies and similar technologies on our website (drivedot.cloud).
Important: Drive.'s mobile app does not use cookies. This policy applies only to our marketing website.
2. Cookies We Use
Our website uses a minimal set of cookies, all strictly necessary for operation:
- CSRF Token: A session cookie that prevents cross-site request forgery. Required for form submission. Expires when the session ends.
- Session Cookie: A temporary cookie to maintain your session state while browsing. Does not contain personal information. Expires when you close your browser.
We do not use:
- Analytics cookies
- Advertising or tracking cookies
- Third-party cookies
- Social media cookies
- Behavioural tracking cookies
3. No Tracking
Drive. does not track your browsing activity across the web. Our website has no analytics scripts, no pixel trackers, no fingerprinting, and no third-party embeds that collect data. We deliberately chose not to use Google Analytics or any analytics service.
We occasionally review anonymized server logs (IP address, browser type, pages visited) for security monitoring and basic operational metrics. These logs are retained for 7 days and then deleted.
4. Why We Don't Use Analytics Cookies
Drive.'s privacy philosophy extends to our website. We believe you should not be tracked just for visiting a website. If we need to understand website traffic, we use anonymized, aggregated server-side metrics that do not involve cookies or individual user identification.
5. Managing Cookies
Most web browsers allow you to control cookies through your browser settings. You can:
- View cookies stored on your device
- Block cookies entirely
- Delete cookies after each session
- Set preferences for specific websites
Blocking all cookies may affect the functionality of our website, particularly form submissions and security features. Since we only use essential cookies, blocking them may prevent the site from working correctly.
6. Do Not Track (DNT)
Our website does not respond to Do Not Track (DNT) browser signals because we do not engage in any cross-site tracking in the first place. Your choice not to be tracked is already respected by default.
7. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Cookie Policy to reflect changes in our practices or legal requirements. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date.
